May Day Cocktail with Aperol and gin

Just ordered a book on wild edible plants because I told my friend that petunias are edible. (They’re not.) ????? (we’re fine. ?) This cocktail is a perfect balcony drink no matter what flowers you use to garnish.

Ingredients

  • .5 oz gin
  • .5 oz Aperol
  • .5 oz lemon juice
  • 1 barspoon simple syrup
  • 3 dashes rhubarb bitters
  • Champagne to top

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients except champagne and pour into a chilled coupe. Top with the bubbly stuff! Garnish with a garden flower!
