The Smoked Persimmon Tree

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • .75 oz lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey or .5oz honey simple syrup
  • 1 quarter fresh persimmon
  • dried rosemary for smoking

Instructions

  1. Add persimmons to bourbon and lemon juice and middle until you have a pulpy mess. Strain off the solids and add the honey syrup and ice to your shaker. Add dried rosemary to the Smoking GunĀ® and smoke your cocktail under plastic wrap. Let it sit for about a minute and then add the top of your shaker and shake your drink normally. For an extra smoky flavor, you can also smoke your glass!
