I sometimes wish I had the palate to pursue amateur sommelier skills but I probably lack the taste buds to study nuanced and evasive flavors. This cocktail is a perfect example of my preference for drinks to be a bit confrontational to the taste buds. When I saw this perfectly great cocktail recipe I thought, this needs pepper! ?? It was good!
