When some flavors are combined, the taste feels right and obvious, no matter how odd the combo seems on paper. Cardamom and rose are two of those flavors.
?Cardamom Rose Cocktail ?
?1.5 oz gin
?.5 oz of simple syrup
?.25 oz of rose flower water or muddled rose petals (dry or fresh)
?.25 oz of Fresh lemon juice
?.75 oz of Fresh grapefruit juice
?2 dashes of Peychauds bitters
?1 cardamom pod or dash of cardamom seeds
Muddle gin with rose petals and cardamom. Add other ingredients and shake. Optional: crack black pepper on top.
