I adapted this drink from Jeff Berry’s “Sippin’ Safari,” a painstakingly researched book that was published in 2007. In the book, Berry documents all of the great “lost” tropical drink recipes and the people behind them. 🙂 ??? Tiki mugs made in my pottery class.

Ingredients
- 2 oz rum
- .5 oz lime juice
- .5 oz orange juice
- .25 oz simple syrup
- 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
- 1 Dash Cinnamon
- 1 Dash Vanilla
- 1 Dash Allspice
- 4 oz crushed ice
Instructions
Shake all of the ingredients with regular ice cubes. Fill tiki mug with the crushed ice and pour in your drink. serve with tropical garnishes and sprinkle some allspice on top.
