Every year when the cherry blossoms start to bloom in Central Park I’ll pluck one (or two :)) to use as a cocktail garnish. This spring the blossoms started blooming just as I was experimenting with a cocktail for Cinco de Mayo for a partnership with @pasotetequila.
Using the Flavor Bible for inspiration, I made a cocktail with cherry juice, and an egg white. Margaritas might be the cocktail I would choose on a deserted island but on special occasions a good tequila deserves something a bit different from the usual. 🙂
