It’s been oppressively hot here in NYC this weekend and the only things that sounded good were:
1.) Going to the pool
2.) tuna tartare (always sounds good)
3.) Drinking only gin and tonics or saké. Found this recipe in PDT’s book that really hit that third spot.
- 2 oz unfiltered sake
- 1 oz gin
- 1 barspoon velvet falernum
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Rim with matcha and garnish with a mint sprig.
