The first time I tried sake was 4 years ago when I moved to NYC. I thought it was alright and I would only drink it when I went out for a sushi dinner. But then I tried Nigori sake. ??? Nigori sake is cloudy with a mild flavor and I feel like I’m drinking velvet in sake form. I like it best chilled which makes it perfect in the summer and in cocktails.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Nigori sake
- 1 oz Shochu
- .5 oz lime juice
- .25 oz orgeat
Instructions
Shake all ingredients and serve up in a coupe, garnish with a flower. This recipe does not come from anywhere in particular, I looked at a bunch of shochu recipes with orgeat and added some of that sweet, sweet sake. 🙂
