The first time I saw a dragonfruit in a Chinatown grocery I had NO idea what the heck it was. I bought it, tried it, and have loved them ever since. They don’t have a crazy taste which is a bit surprising based on their vibrant color, but I think dragonfruits might be the prettiest fruits out there. The dragonfruit margarita is more muted and complex with the rosewater than a traditional citrus-only marg. Very delicious and highly recommend!
? Dragon Fruit Margarita ?
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1/4 dragon fruit, skin removed and cubed
- .5 oz lime juice
- .5 oz agave nectar
- 2 drops rose water
- Lemon salt for the rim- optional
Add all ingredients except salt and thoroughly muddle dragon fruit. Add ice, shake, and serve.
