This recipe is out of W&P Design’s “Infuse” book. I’ve tried a lot of Bloody Mary recipes but this one is my favorite. Usually, my recipe with bloodies is to put all the spices in that you’d put on a pizza but this recipe turned me into a recipe follower. (At least some of the time. :P)
? Perfect Bloody Mary ?
- 6 oz vodka
- 6 oz pickle brine
- 4 sprigs fresh dill
- 1 clove garlic
- 10 black peppercorns
- 2 tsp crab seasoning (i.e. Old Bay)
- 2 tsp fresh horseradish (I actually use a lot more, but I like bloodies to clear your sinuses ?)
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 4 oz tomato juice
- Garnishes, the more the better
Combine everything in a Mason or pickle jar, seal, and shake. Infuse in the refrigerator for 12 hrs. Strain and keep in the jar. For the bloody, take 3oz of the infused mix, add tomato juice + ice + garnishes, serve!
